Standard PEI-Student Contract

  • The Standard PEI-Student Contract is a very important legal document between DIMENSIONS and the Student.
  • Each standard PEI-Student contract will have a unique number that adhere to the following mandatory requirements:
    • The course details as stated in Schedule A. The information provided in this schedule should be the same as the submission to the SSG.
    • The breakdown of the total course fees payable, including non-refundable fees, discounts/rebates and grants/funding offered, together with the instalment schedule are stated in Schedule B and disclosed in all relevant marketing materials.
    • Each instalment amount shall not exceed 12 months’ worth of fees and each instalment after the first shall be collected within one week before the next payment scheduled. This does not apply to courses with a duration of not more than 12 months.
    • Schedule C, outlines the miscellaneous fees comprising non-compulsory and non-standard fee which students will pay when necessary or applicable.
    • Termination and Refund policy is laid out in point 3 of the standard PEI-Student contract, Schedule D and Schedule E.

  • Each student contract is meant for the admission of each student into ONE course. Students are required to sign a separate contract for every course that they are enrolled in.
  • The terms and conditions of the student contract are explained clearly and comprehensively to each student, ensuring that they fully understand them. If the student is under eighteen (18) years of age, the student will be represented by the parent/guardian.
  • Students are required to sign two original sets of student contract and will retain one set for personal reference.
  • If any amendment is made which will change the original intent of the contract, the Student and the college must sign beside the amendment(s) on both sets of the student contracts.
  • No fields will leave blank in the student contract. Where non-applicable, it will be filled with “N.A.”.
  • A cooling-off period of at least ten (10) calendar days commencing from and including the date of the Student Contract, is stipulated in the student contract. During this period, students have the option to reconsider their decision to enroll. The Student will be refunded all Course Fees and Miscellaneous Fees paid if the Student submits a written notice of withdrawal to the DIMENSIONS within the cooling-off period, regardless of whether the Student has started the course or not.
