In the month of July, we celebrated Racial Harmony Day—a day where every race gets together to commemorate our diversity, our cultures, and our uniqueness. In DIMENSIONS, we are blessed to have students hailing from all over the world, which makes this day even more special. 

Decked in multi-coloured ethnic wear, some of our students milled into the canteen for the first event of the day—the performances. But first, a few rousing speeches were given by student representatives to share what they thought about Racial Harmony Day. They were equal parts heartwarming and intriguing to listen to their takes on this Singapore-exclusive event. 

Next up, we had a whole host of performances ranging from dancing, singing to martial arts! The performers had bright smiles plastered all over their faces as they showed off their items. Every single one was a delight to watch and a beautiful representation of our multiracial society. Their fellow classmates seemed to enjoy their showcases too, as thunderous applause filled the room each time. 

We ended this segment by awarding the best dressed students of each class with a crown and the well-deserved title. Their effort in dressing to the nines did not go unnoticed. 

The classes then took turns perusing the booths set up in the canteen to display various cultural recreational activities. There was a table for henna, another one for calligraphy, and even a crocheting showcase. Who needs to travel the world when we have it all here in one place?
