DIMENSIONS’ recent field trip to the S.E.A. Aquarium was a splash of adventure and learning! Students explored the wonders of marine life, diving deep into understanding adaptations, survival, and the incredible diversity beneath the waves.

A few of our Primary 2 students from the Holland Village campus visited One Holland Village Mall for their Global Perspectives lesson recently. The topic covered for this lesson was “Helping Animals”. The main learning objective at this pet-friendly mall was finding out more about the pet facilities available there.

Featuring thrilling matchups and fierce rivalry, the DIMENSIONS Super League Futsal competition pitted three campuses—Holland, Kovan, and Orchard—together to see who would clinch the win. Held at the rooftop garden of the Orchard campus, the home team naturally had the most supporters cheering for them with their snacks and umbrellas in tow.

DICMUN I: A Wonderful Experience, an Extraordinary Success! On June 6th and 7th, 2024, our school hosted its first-ever DICMUN I (DIMENSIONS International College Model United Nations) event, and it was nothing short of extraordinary! We are immensely proud of our students—Secretaries, Chairs, and Delegates—who showcased unparalleled professionalism, deep knowledge, and remarkable dedication throughout the two-day conference.

Exciting news, DIMENSIONS secondary students! We have been in talks with Republic Polytechnic about an information session for all of you. In the near future, you will be invited to tour the campus at Republic Polytechnic, one of the best tertiary school options in Singapore!

Our Primary 1 students from the Kovan branch visited the Zoo recently! We established a few learning objectives for the young ones as they set out on this excursion. Firstly, we wanted them to explore and understand Singapore’s wildlife in their natural habitats.

DIMENSIONS’ recent trip to Snow City was a cool blend of fun and learning! Students experienced hands-on education that went beyond the classroom. Firstly, there was an ice cream making workshop that enraptured our students from the start till the end. They picked from a few flavours before they got busy making their icy cold treat.

We are so proud of these students for their excellent performance during the June Cambridge IGCSE examinations! These results are indicative of the hard work and dedication they have put into their studies.

Congratulations to Baixiang Wang of Class A47 for being awarded a certificate of Distinction in the latest Euclid Mathematics Contest! This achievement required grit and tenacity to acquire as it featured questions that are uncommonly seen in the usual secondary school syllabus. He has certainly worked hard to get such excellent results.

DIMENSIONS celebrated National Day! The whole school was abuzz with excitement for the full day of fun activities lined up. Our primary students put on quite a show filled with dancing, singing, and group marching.

Two members of our alumni made a trip back to the Kovan campus recently. Pictured left is Sathish Kumar Sai Vishwanath who graduated in 2019 is currently enrolled in Monash University, Australia, for his Bachelor’s in Information Technology.

Some of our sec 3 and 4 students attended the first briefing for leadership camp this week! This briefing is to give students a rundown on the agenda of the camp. This included the packing list, itinerary, and the learning objectives.

Our Orchard Campus went through a fire drill last Friday. While fires are unlikely, these drills serve an essential purpose in ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone on campus. As such, DIMENSIONS conducts these exercises regularly, so our students remember how to escape safely.

In the month of July, we celebrated Racial Harmony Day—a day where every race gets together to commemorate our diversity, our cultures, and our uniqueness. In DIMENSIONS, we are blessed to have students hailing from all over the world, which makes this day even more special.
