DIMENSIONS International College is proud to present its top student – Miss Tu Meng Yu who has managed to achieve a record-breaking results of A1 for all of the 6 subjects, including English during the 2012 GCE O-Level Examination. It is a feat proudly achieved that has surpassed all other excellent GCE O-Level results recorded in DIMENSIONS’ history. Besides that, students who have managed to achieve excellent results for the standard 5 subjects during the 2012 GCE O-Level Examination are Zhang Ke Qi, Hu Jia Wei, Miao Qing Qing and Wei Huan – each scoring an impressive 7 points. Other honorable mentions include Song Ying and Xu Ying who scored 9 points also for 5 subjects respectively. We extend our heartiest congratulations to these students and the rest who have achieved excellent results in the 2012 GCE O-Level Examination.

Breaking news: Heartiest congratulations to our top student, Yang Kaiqi, for obtaining five A1s (out of five subjects) in her “O” level examinations – A1 in English Language, A1 in Mathematics, A1 in Higher-Mathematics, A1 in MT and A1 in Physics. Her achievement has set a new record in DIMENSIONS among students from previous cohorts. She is the best achiever at DIMENSIONS ever.

DIMENSIONS’ GCE “O” level (2011) results have been exceptionally good this time. There has not only been an increase in the overall number of students who passed their “O” level exams, but also the number who scored better grades. Our top student this year, Yang Kaiqi, scored five straight A1s in all her five subjects (including A1 for English Language) and broke the school’s all-time record for top student. Four other students also scored impressive results with seven points from five subjects.

August, 2011 became a milestone in the history of DIMENSIONS International College when it got declared a recipient of a nationally acclaimed award in two categories simultaneously. It is the first private college in Singapore ever to achieve this.

After a 36-year career in the Singapore Administrative Service, Mr Tan Boon Huat (陈文发) joined SAS Institute Singapore as Senior Advisor. He is also a Corporate Advisor to Temasek Holdings. After completing pre-university education in Singapore at Raffles Institution, he graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Forestry (Class 1 Honours standing) in 1974, under a Colombo Plan Scholarship. Mr Tan obtained a Master of Science (With Distinction) in Management Science from the Imperial College of the University of London in 1980, under an Administrative Service Mid-Career Scholarship, funded by the Bank of Tokyo, Singapore. He attended the 150th Harvard Advanced Management Programme in the spring of 1996, also under government auspices.

We are very happy to unveil our newest campus at a River Valley site. The new campus will house the School of Language and the School of Higher Education and add more classroom capacity to both Schools. It will also increase Dimension’s overall capacity to 89 classrooms. DIMENSIONS latest campus, City Campus located at 277 River Valley Road, was secured by DIMENSIONS in August, 2011.

The main hall at the Bukit Timah Campus was filled with nearly 300 students of the ‘O’ Level Preparatory Programme on Monday, 18th January, 2011. The students from the Main Campus were attending the GCE ‘O’ Level Experience Sharing Seminar to learn the secrets of academic success of their predecessors.
