Happy International Women’s Day to all mothers, wives, sisters, and friends in our lives! You make the world a better place and we cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for us. To the ladies, take this day to celebrate your womanhood and everything that comes with it—from the good to the bad. To everyone else, let the women who have shaped and inspired you know that you appreciate them. 

International Women’s Day is celebrated annually on March 8 as a focal point in the women’s rights movement. It calls for equality for everyone and justice for the wrongs done unto women. Its purpose is to advocate for a world that is free of discrimination, and to celebrate diversity and inclusivity. 

So, while this holiday only comes around once a year, appreciating women and treating them equally should be practised daily. By celebrating the women in our lives, we are celebrating everyone.
