In honour of the academic accomplishments of our graduates, DIMENSIONS’ inaugural Graduation Ceremony, graced by our guest of honour and former Member of Parliament, Mrs Yu-Foo Yee Shoon, was held on 18 May 2019 at Sheraton Towers Singapore. Attended by a horde of graduates, academic dignitaries, and guests, the ceremony featured the conferral of Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from two (2) of our highly reputable university partners – Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK) and the University of Hertfordshire (UK).
Many proud family members of the graduates, too, journeyed great distances and congregated at the luxury 5-star hotel to celebrate the notable achievements of their loved ones. It was indeed a momentous occasion to witness as graduates, decked out in their academic regalia, went up on stage to receive their coveted award certificates.
The first congratulatory speech was delivered by our Honorary Group Chairman, Chairman of the Advisory Committee, and former Member of Parliament, Mr Teo Chong Tee (JP, BBM). “Today’s graduation ceremony marks more than just a graduation. This commencement comes at the end of a fruitful academic journey and marks a momentous and important juncture in the lives of our students. Not only is it a time to commend our students’ academic achievements, but it is also a good time to celebrate the culmination of hard work our students have put in throughout their school years,” he said.
On behalf of Cardiff Metropolitan University and the University of Hertfordshire, Mr Theo Koukouravas, Deputy Dean of Learning and Teaching (Collaborative and International Programmes), and Professor Damian Ward, Dean of Hertfordshire Business School, each took the podium to address the audience respectively.
The ceremony was then culminated with the presentation of graduates from the following academic programmes:
Cardiff Metropolitan University
- Master of Science in Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing
- Master of Business Administration (Cardiff Metropolitan University)
- Master of Business Administration (Finance)
- Master of Business Administration (Human Resources)
- Master of Business Administration (Marketing)
- Master of Business Administration (Project Management)
- Bachelor of Arts with Honours in International Hospitality Management
University of Hertfordshire
