DIMENSIONS’ recent field trip to the S.E.A. Aquarium was a splash of adventure and learning! Students explored the wonders of marine life, diving deep into understanding adaptations, survival, and the incredible diversity beneath the waves. This “classroom without walls” experience brought textbook lessons to life, showing us how each species thrives in its unique habitat.
From walking through the coral garden, marvelling at the sea jellies gallery, to petting sea creatures in the petting zoo, our students were starstruck from the very first step into this aquatic wonderland. We believe that hands-on experience is crucial in getting students to appreciate the many beauties of life. Reading from a textbook can only get you so far. We hope that our students developed a deeper love for our marine friends, especially the numerous endangered species housed in the aquarium that they were able to catch a glimpse of today.
