Recently, we sent our IGCSE classes to Camp Challenge to equip them with leadership skills, challenge their ability to work as a team, foster stronger friendships, and most importantly, have fun.
Both days were filled with fun activities that taught the students how to lead and cooperate with each other. Through these team bonding games, they learnt the importance of communicating with each other clearly. One such activity was the telephone game, where each member has to pass along a message from the first person to the last. The goal is for the last person to receive the same message as the first person. There were bouts of giggles from those that relayed a slightly warped message, and shouts of triumph from those that got the message right.
As for their sleeping arrangements, our campers had to work together to pitch their tents. Most of the students have never done this before, so it was a challenge to them as they had to figure out how different parts of the tent worked. Nevertheless, through brains and brawn, all of the students managed to set up their tents. Good job guys!
Let’s see what other exciting activities our students got up to during this leadership camp!
