DIMENSIONS celebrated Hari Raya this year with a ton of activities lined up to introduce the culture to our international students. The students were encouraged to come dressed in ethnic wear to really soak in the spirit of the festivities.  

They learned more about Hari Raya through different traditions like weaving ketupat and eating hari raya goodies. The ketupat weaving was a challenge to many in the beginning, as getting the knots and pattern right was a finicky task indeed. Nevertheless, the students had a great time getting their hands busy with these activities and were delighted to take their finished ketupats home as decoration. 

Congratulations are in order for the classes that won the best Hari Raya class decoration competition! Your creativity really blew us away and you deserve the recognition to go along with the beautiful choices of decoration. 

Before the day ended, the teachers were given small bottles of popular Hari Raya snacks to take home as a small token of appreciation for their hard work thus far.
